Final cover, maybe

Meanwhile, I received the typesetting proofs (well, the first go with them) this week. The editor wanted a few more changes - tighten a scene here, clarify something there, delete this or that. It surprised me a bit; I thought we were well beyond those sorts of editorial adjustments. I was glad to make the changes but I truly hope there won't be any more.

I like the one in the upper right the best. I can't explain it, but it somehow projects something sinister; more so than the others. The story sounds intriguing too, especially to a former Catholic school kid like me.
