Graphic Novel Friday Stephen King's The Dark Tower/Treachery

Ah treacherous women, who would have thunk. Check this out from the inside flap of the graphic novel:’What does treachery look like? Everyone knows treachery is defined as someone doing you wrong when they ought
not be. So now you want to know how to sopt it? Well then, welcome to Giead…an’
take your pick of sights to see.

Follow Steven Deschain and his ka-tet of Gilead’s protectors as they ride out to the hinterlands to find Farson’s men. Would it surprise ya to know someone in that group knows something bad the others don’t. Now take a
look at Roland’s mother, Gabrielle. She;s at the nunnery trying to get right
with God. But look, there’s Marten Broadcloak slumming about. You’re starting
to get the picture, ya kennit?

And comes yonder theneice of the brutish Cort, he who trains the gunslingers from boys to men. What’s she doing with a gun in her hand? If that’s not a betrayal of her womanhood, I’d like to know what is.”

This is the third graphic novel I have read and covered here on The Scoop. The artwork is amazing, the dialogue is incredible and the story does not get old, but better. What is his secret? I have no idea, but I want to
continue to find out what happens to this original group of characters he has
crafted. Gilead’s gunslingers are a very diverse and multifaceted bunch. Boring
is not a word I would use in this post about them .If you haven’t picked up an
installment of the series yet, please do so, they are very entertaining and
addicting.
