I see that most of you have no problems posting photos and book covers on your blog post. I, on the other hand, don't seem to be able to transfer a cover image from my files (jpeg) to the blog. And nowhere in "Help" is this problem addressed. Neither does the "Upload Photo" method explain why there is an "error" with my image and what to do about it.

Any suggestions?

(And sorry to blog about it, but I didn't know what other route to take)

You can got to imgur.com and upload it there and then copy the "HTML Image (websites/blogs)" link it gives you and just paste it into your blog.

Ah. Thanks, Pepper. I didn't notice the rectangle, but I did see it on the "Photos" page and tried to get it in there, but that's when it told me there was an error and to try again. So Jon may be right. The image came to me from France and is jpeg, but God knows what size is involved. I sure don't want to end up with a cover that keeps running down the page.

I go with Jon's idea--if you can, go in and reduce the size of the photo and then give it a shot.

Assuming you tried what Pepper rightly suggests, it may be that your file's too big. Not sure what the size limit is for this site.

In the blog posting frame, there's a small, black rectangle with a circle in it--that represents a camera. Click on that, and it will help you upload an image to put in your blog post.
