In May, Grand Central Publishing will be publishing INNOCENT by Scott Turow, the sequel to PRESUMED INNOCENT. INNOCENT continues the story of Rusty Sabich and Tommy Molto who are, once again, twenty years later, pitted against each other in a riveting psychological match after the mysterious death of Rusty's wife.

Presumed Innocent is on my top 3 all time favorites. About a year ago I had this desire to rewatch the movie (my husband couldn't remember it) ; I was surprised to find it was out of circulation. I ordered a copy and now have a few. I also ordered a couple paperbacks of the novel. All these years later and it still stacks up with anything published or produced post Presumed innocent.
I am looking forward to the sequal. I hope I am too young for alzheimer's, but I swear I remember reading what I thought was a sequal years ago. I know I read a Turrow book, after Presumed Innocent that focused on the Rusty's lawyer.
I always though that, Turrow should write a prequel to Presumed Innocent, playing up the affair and giving us more insight into Rusty's wife and what lead her to such drastic actions.
