Saturday I'll join the cream of local authors at the annual Maryland Writers Association Writers Conference. From 8am to 6:15pm the association presents a wealth of valuable information and networking opportunities for writers at every level.

Award-winning novelist, short story writer, and biographer Roxana Robinson will give the keynote address. The conference also offers 20 distinguished speakers and panelists, plus one-on-one sessions with book editors and agents, not to mention breakfast, a buffet lunch, snacks and complimentary tote bags.

Among those aforementioned speakers, I'll offer a session called "Writing Mysteries: The How-to-do-it on Whodunits." And there will be a book store onsite so attendees can pick up my books on writing and marketing, and of course the Hannibal Jones mysteries. The grand event takes place at the Baltimore Marriott Hunt Valley Inn,
245 Shawan Road, Hunt Valley MD.
