I’ll be one of more than thirty writers participating in the Black Authors & Readers Rock Weekend. It kicks off Friday at 7pm with a reception, a book launch and a discussion of Pamela Samuels Young's latest novel, "Attorney Client Privilege."
Saturday I will be on two of the four panel discussions: "Is Urban Lit Really Literature," "So You Wanna Write," "What Impact has the Ebook had on Black Publishing," and "How to Start, Improve and Get the Most Out of Your Book Club." Then keynote speaker Mary Monroe will enrich our lunch, and attendees can spend the afternoon chatting with the authors showing and signing their books.
No more advance tickets will be sold but you are welcome to register at the door. We’ll be at the Metro Points Hotel, 8500 Annapolis Rd New Carrolton MD.
