I have a new website, where you can read the first two chapters of my new novel: www.matcoward.com

The site is courtesy of the (US) Authors Guild. This is a superb organisation, and I would strongly urge anyone who is published in the USA to join it - the benefits of membership are considerable. The Guild is at http://authorsguild.org

Here’s a new, easy way to order a copy of the paperback of my new crime novel, Acts of Destruction: it’s in stock at http://www.eco-logicbooks.com/index.cfm?fa=home
This is probably the best way for people outside the UK to buy the book.

Thanks to the boundlessly enterprising Elastic Press, “So far, so near” is now available as an audio-book download, produced by Action Audio. This is my first audio-book, so I’m rather excited about it. You can find it here: www.audible.co.uk (just type “Mat Coward” in the search box). It costs £9-99, or £7-99 for members of Audible.

Although the book is a short story collection in the SF genres, several of the stories have decidedly criminous aspects - as you might expect, given my record!

I haven’t heard the recording yet - if you do listen to it, please let me know what you think.

Many thanks for your kind comments, Joyce. I’ll certainly post here when I have any news on the book. I sometimes thing the endless waiting is the worst part of being a writer - but then I remember the low pay, the long hours ...

Mat, Those two chapters are a great read, and the way it ends? You either have to put more out there or make sure we know when it gets published. Love the characters, and even though there are only two chapters, you've already got several investigations going, and there's also an intern thrown into the mix. This really grabs you right from the start. It's an interesting preview of the way of life in the future. Well done. Please let us know where we can find more of it! Joyce
