Fakhra Younus was an attractive young woman. That's her in the picture. Take a good look at her face. I don't want you to forget it.

If she'd been lucky, she might have become a model. But she grew up in poverty in Pakistan, a conservative country run by powerful men. Her mother was a heroin addict.As a young teenager, Fakhra went to work as a dancing girl in a Karachi red-light district.

In Pakistan, dancing girl is a euphemism for prostitute. She did this to support her family. 

Then, at the age of 18, Fakhra followed the script of Pretty Woman.  In 1997, she married a rich client, Bilal Khar. That was a big mistake.
