So the NPR piece ran this morning--

They did a great job, I thought. Here's a link:

It's already driving sales a bit--the paperback of HIGH SEASON sold out on Amazon, and this is particularly nice:

MATING SEASON: #61 in Kindle Store > Kindle Books > Mystery & Thrillers > Police Procedurals

It was cool to be driving into work, listening to "Morning Edition," and suddenly this author from CrimeSpace starts talking. "Wait a minute, that Jon Loomis?" Quite surreal. It sounds like a great read, I'll have to pick that one up.

I lived two years in Southbridge while in grad school, then two years in Norwood before moving to Maryland. We used to go to the Cape--mostly Nausset Beach in Orleans--several times a year, though I remember a couple of entertaining trips to P'town.

Guess I'm going to have to break down and buy your book, Jon. So many nice things are being said. Congratulations, ace.

Thanks, Dana--where'd you live in the Mass?

Good pub, and NPR is th big time. I haven't read MATING SEASON yet, but I loved HIGH SEASON. I used to live in Massachusetts, and have been to Provincetown a couple of times. You nailed it.

Jon,
I'm happy for you, man. Mating Season was excellent. You deserve seeing this success. Can't wait for your next one coming soon (I hope!).
