A friend of mine Down Under picked up a copy of SWITCH today at his local bookstore and sent a couple of pics to prove that I'm a published author. Since I haven't seen a copy of the real book yet, it was a great thrill to know it really did exist ;-) To celebrate the launch, Australian author JJ Cooper posted a Q&A with me on his crime blog wherein I divulge my secret plan to appear on Coronation Street ;-) You can read it Here.

Thanks, Geoff, it is a bit strange, but hopefully I'll be able to secure a U.S. and Canadian deal in the New Year. It certainly would be nice to actually see it in a bookstore.

Hi Grant,
Congratulations! Must be a bit odd hitting the shelves first on the other side of the world. I was reminiscing about what a great buzz seeing that first book is for a writer when something in the right hand photo caught my eye. Hard left I spy two copies of my second book in the paperback edition. Spine out but still you are obviously in a very discerning booksellers. Your next task will be to develop the subtle technique of casually repositioning your book, cover-out, when the bookseller accidentally forgets to do this. Best wishes for mega sales and more titles. I'll keep an eye out, easy to do since you'll always be just to the right. Geoff
