Will we ever know the casue of his death? Was it a simple heart attack or something else? A fifty year old man in terrific shape who didn't drink or smoke. Sometimes the mysteries of real life dwarf that of our fictional tomes. In any case, we of the Generation X have lost an Icon. I remember the girls in my high school with the Thriller posters in their lockers. Its sad. . .

Kurt Cobain...Man, I was just listening to him today. I've been grinding lasers into the same discs since high school. I still get goosebumps.

My children love his music. His genius will live on. To me he was like losing Elvis, John Lennon and Kurt Cobain. These savants exist in an entirely different creativity plane.

Many of my early childhood memories are watching Video Hits and seeing him in Thriller- I tried to copy all his moves, I had all of his albums on tape and iddolised him I guess. I never believed that he hurt those boys - but I thought he was a little boy himself trapped in a mans body. He was an amazing artist - a true genius and performer and I miss him already. Radio and clubs have been playing his hits non-stop and everyone of them has a memory attached to it. So sad that he is gone - and gone far too soon.
