That is, hands down, the most interesting book trailer I've seen, but I agree with IJ: as it went on, it was less about the book and more about the cool effects.
I'm old, and probably a marketing Luddite (if that's not mixing metaphors, and even if it is), but I've always thought as advertising books through movie-like trailers as a lot like advertising chess at an Ultimate Fighting bout. How much interest do people attracted to one have for the other?

Actually, I think it was more an ad for the NZ Book Council than for the book. And yeah, the reading was hard to understand sometimes.

Neat, but I learned nothing about the book. Part of the problem is that the reading was hard to understand.
