Happy Monday morning to everybody! I hope that everybody wakes up and punches the day right in the face and gets off to the excellent start that you want. What is the gist of this Monday mornings rant? The Author’s Lab/Collaboration series is. I have been fortunate to receive a number of questions as to what is going on with it and where is it we are going?

Here is what I can tell you right now: The next installment for this week is a truly amazing read from Mark Miller, author of the Empyrical Tales YA series of novels.  The title is “A PRINCE IN TRENTON, SERIOUSLY?”    Unlike some of the other stories in the series with more of an adult theme, this can be read by kids of all ages, or read to kids of all ages. I am proud and thrilled to say that I can share this story with my younger kids. Mark Miller has created an amazing universe in this story, just too much fun.

Also this week if we can pull it off we have something that we are doing that is truly cutting edge, different and irreverent. What is it you might ask, sorry, I will drop that nuclear bomb later in the week. Right now this is top secret and is in the final stages of completion. I can say with certainty that it is funny, hysterically so, not been done before, and is something that is going to be a new series within The Lab. Look for some news on this later in the week.

”Dueling Microphones” , Rose A. Valenta author of “Sitting on Cold Porcelian”  is the author on this and it will be released on July 8th. What is the premise on this?  After reading my short story,”I Have Chrome Balls ,Don’t You?” currently #54 on Amazon Kindle Humor , Rose said lets jam like we were in a comedy club going back and forth. Me being up for anything said sure;  hopefully you will like the outcome.

The Horizon is wide open from that date on out. Stories we have in various stages of completion by author names are: Sylvia Massara, Blaize Valentine,CQ Scafidi, Joan Miejer, Joy Spraycar, John Freed, Werner Lind, Jeffrey Martin, Cody Toye, Big Daddy Abel, Floyd Buck Periwinkle, Sam Lang, Samantha Weiler, Angelique Lafontaine, Thomas White, B.R. Stateham, Tom Sumner, Benjamin Sobieck, Laurie Bowler, Alexandria Weis, and I can just keep going and going.

My point is this. Each week we are going to be delivering to you the reader another installment of this series, possibly two or more, depends on the week and what we have cooking. Not to mention The Ultimate Six Packs and a little something else coming down the pike.

I want to personally thank each and every one of you that has taken the time to not just read the stories, but to leave reviews for them. Currently we have had 5 out of the first nine land in the Top 100 on Amazon Kindle in their respective category!  I think that just speaks to the quality of the work and the authors involved. I think it is a cool thing that each week, we as readers can get a fix of good writing, for a different author, different genre, but have some of the same characters stay consistent.

If you haven’t had a read yet on one of them, what are you waiting for? The reviews are nothing short of stellar by readers and bloggers alike. We are incredibly thankful for that, believe me.

To finish this out here is my challenge to all readers and authors:

DO YOU HAVE AN IDEA FOR A STORY THAT YOU WANT TO SEE IN PRINT?

ARE YOU AN AUTHOR  AND WOULD LIKE TO CREATE ONE OF THESE STORIES WITH ME,?

DO YOU HAVE AN IDEA OF A GREAT PAIRING FOR COLLABORATION, MAYBE I CAN TALK THEM INTO IT?

I have many more questions for you but that I think is enough for one Monday morning. I am looking forward to your responses.
