Sorry it took me so long to accept your invite as a friend. I haven't been here in a long time. Liked your pictuers - especially the cat. Have a 16 year old one of my own. Like music, too, but I'm only a listener.

Thanks for the friend invite. If you are kind of new to Crime Space, welcome. I checked out your website. It was pretty cool, I liked your singing. Playing the guitar is my release from the real world, I get so wrapped up playing, sometimes it's 2 or 3 hours before I know it. Since I got hurt and had the strokes, it has really put a crimp on playing though. My left hand is OK, but I have trouble with control over my pick hand, but I keep going. It is good theorpy and seems to be helping my control. I like some blues, old style country from the 50's, 60's, and 70's and of course oldie rock and roll from the same era.

I used to have an oldies band called "Remember When". But as so many small bands, mine faded away, but I kept playing.

Well, talk to ya later,
Lee

Thank you! It's been fun getting national coverage for a book I haven't finished yet. Now I just have to finish it!

I envy and respect anyone who can make music. Can't carry a note in both hands. But the protagonist(s) in our novel, The Ballad of Lacey Jay, is a country-music hopeful who is murdered just as it looks like she might be getting a break. Her toddler daughter grows up to be the musician of the family. Check it out. Some libraries have it, as does most Barnes & Noble outlets.
