Hi Karen,

His novel 'Jennifer Government' is excellent. It satirises the West's obsession with labels and identity. Jennifer herself is a strong lead character. He is an Australian writer who was rejected by publishers at home and then picked up by one of the New York houses.

Cheers

Mark

Thanks Karen. My publisher is editing How Kirsty Gets Her Kicks as I write this. Hope he doesn't tear it apart. I might cry.

Very nice to meet you Karen and congratulations on your success both now and in the future, I must admit that i have not read any of your work to date, but I am headed into town in the morning, and will stop by Borders and see what I can find.

The writing's fine, it's the marketing and promotion that I'm trying to figure out. Any secrets? I see you're a Dexter fan. Have you been watching this season?

That's awesome, Karen! Congratulations! I'm working on Chapter 19 of mine. I have been working on it for...ever. I am hoping to get the second arc completed by the 15th of April, so I can take a little break.

That is so awesome about the publisher. Great job!

Hi, Karen! My first mystery was a sort of dark thriller, but I've also written a trilogy of humorous mysteries.

It takes an exceptionally strong person to write that kind of story. We always seem to write the best when we write about what's closest to us and that's usually very difficult. That's why not everyone can write a story.

I hope you stick with your "Crime Faction," it's is a very good idea, patent it before someone else gets their paws on it!

I'm so sorry to hear about your student, it must be very distressing. Glad to hear that the Olympics are a help. It's kind of funny, usually take about 1/2 an hour before bed to read and unwind, our 2 cats join me for a nightcap :)

Looking forward to reading your story, you'll let us know when it's out.
