Awesome. the only change I would even consider is if you make a martini like I do, you are careful to not allow the vermouth to get within ten feet of the gin, otherwise it will dilute the finished drink. Seriously, this is superb.
done. Any drink with hot chocolate has to work for our group. Will show you an idea for a page as soon as I get more tea, change over the laundry, finish making beds and put dinner in (sounds impressive huh?)
How about the Moldy Cliffhanger? In a frosted mug, pour 1 oz dark rum, 1 oz frangelico, 6 oz hot chocolate, top with whipped cream, cinammon sprinkles, and a sprig of fresh mint?
We could do a page (which looks like work but really it is dead easy for what I do on them - takes about ten minutes) of Jack's Secret (or Famous) Recipes for drinks. We should invent a Moldy Cockroach drink - no clue what (since I only drink cider and that rarely I really know very little about this)
Don't know whether we'll need a separate page - i thought an assortment of beers, maybe some G&T and Tom Collins, also perhaps some Long island Iced Tea for when the firemen arrive, and oh yes, we have to have mojitos. Someone said they couldn't function without them.
of course there will be plenty of Dom and Christal for the bubbly drinkers...
ooohhh - I like the five foot long sub idea. Wonder if Bev will go for it? Shrimps too. Am trying to keep it to finger food as much as possible. Did shish kabobs cuz after all we can eat those off the stick right? Had a lot of nachos at the summer party but they never really go wrong do they? Hummm - two days to go and counting!
How about a nachos platter. Have a huge bowl/ bucket of chips and then refried beans, diced tomatoes, diced onion, shredded lettuce, diced green pepper, diced jalapenos, shredded cheese, melted cheese, several salsas and sour cream, and then "hot pans" of hamburger, chopped chicken, tiny shrimp, pulled pork, and "cheese steak" type cooked beef. Take a platter and build to suit. Also how about a five foot long sub from one of the deli's along with sides of potato salad, cold slaw, and macaroni salad. I mean this is a party right?
Hey guys! Bev and I need recipes for this anniversary party this weekend (is it that soon already?????). I have thrown some desserts and easy appetizers up along with corn to roast but what else can you come up with that is easy and not too messy to eat? Wings? Maybe a cheese plate? I am drawing a blank at the moment.
And in person, too.
If I see him again at LCC, I'll try to get in on a lunch date. Jen was around to hear Bob and Papa Cook(Troys father Bruce) have a discussion on quantum physics. She tried to look wise, she says.

So how long did that take? And we can add or change anything in a heartbeat - honest.

Let me know what you guys think so far please? When and if you have time of course.
Jack - do you want a special drinks page?
