Tony - he's not a bad lad that bloke, and he does a great line in pushing pulp :o)
Jools - thanks doll! It was Tony that did all the hard work though.
Evelyn - thank you - I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Donna for your comments on the humor in mysteries. Your description of Nancy Drew, then and now, is right on the money - and made me laugh out loud. Yeah, I just want the car!

Am being educated tonight by some show with two New Zealand guys- for some reason they make me think of you. Ever heard of - Flight of the Cordhords? Right now they are singing about the Hip-hop-apotumus and the Rhymenoserous -- apparently it is a Gangsta/Folk crossover song.
Great. They will be thrilled. Of course I will need a destination for them - just the 62 Bus stop anywhere in Glasgow? Will that work?
I should warn you, they are expensive and high maintenance. The one who thinks you are entertaining can cook though. And she can kick so she could deal with the cops for you. The other one mostly tells me how mysteries are not *real* literature. Give her Shakespeare and she will behave (mostly).
Older daughter approves of your music. She says it is 'hugely popular in Britain' so I told her that is where you are from. Do you want a pair of teenage girls?
Okay - so the kid has finished your book. She does not read mysteries and still loved it. Told me that my 'friend is really warped' but she said it with a smile and said she would highly recommend the book to any of her friends who wanted a just plain fun read. I think this makes you entertainment.
Not to worry. I can dish out more mental trauma than any book and I am with her every day. It is my job description. Did you know there is a job description for moms and it has nothing to do with making beds or baking cookies?
Merlot has been dragged into the whole music thing too. We are all having fun.
PS - Just handed my 16 year old daughter Go To Helena Handbasket - at her request. She thought Justin Case and Eileen Dover were names that she just has to read about.
Donna, your "About Me" is the start of a great book!! I love it. "I was born at an early age." LOL I read some of your other posts and decided I better stop by and say hi!
You are really bad for me, Donna, honey. I spent today figuring out how to put music on my page instead of getting my bookclub reading done. Had fun though. So thanks!

Lynne - one who thinks I'm entertaining and one who likes my taste in music? Absolutely!
I guess you have.
Serves me right for not checking.
Going away now.
You seen this yet?
