You asked about the Australian Bathroom Readers. Only available in Australia. They are the first three books in row three at my Bathroom Reader web page. http://www.artmontague.com/hysterical society.html.

Hi again Jackie,

Forgot to mention I'd ordered The Burning from VT a while back but haven't had a chance to read it yet. It's on my ToDo list.

Also re: Australia. I contributed to three Uncle John's Bathroom Reader books about Australia, had an Australian editor. A freelance writer gets to do some remarkable things but the work is hectic. Would rather write fiction when I have a chance.

Cheers!

Hi Jackie
glad you enjoyed The First Cut - it just one the Readers' Vote in the Davitt Awards.
I'm near Bittern - so closer to your daughter...
Did you know you can go on the SinC-Oz email list (without being a member)? That way you get notified of all events and know when to come and play with us.
Cheers

Hi Jackie, or should I say ''g'day!" Yes I'm a VirtualTales.com puppy as well--I have to say I think your book the Burning sounds really interesting--I read your account of how it came about with you and your daughter fighting the fire alone and wasimpressed--keep on writing and keep the fire extinguisher handy!!

Jackie, thanks for inviting into your circle of writer-friends. What caught your eye about me that made you key me in? Look forward to chatting. We have some terrific friends in Brisbane and have threatened for years to make the trip down. Don't know that I could survive that long in an airplane. Yikes!

Thanks for the friend invitation. I'm looking forward to trading insights, it looks like we have similar, but not identical tastes.

You most surely did have plenty of experience on which to base your story. Egads!

Thanks for the good wishes; let me know how it goes with The Burning on Virtualtales.com.
