Jane...By day I'm a prosecutor so it's like being a frustrated stand-up comedian, but at least I have a captive audience! My first book Justice is Coming will be out Feb., '08 andf has an evil psychatrist as the bad guy. I look forward to reading your work.

Thanks, Jane. I love my book cover too! Considering authors usually have no say in covers, I count myself very lucky. :) Liz

Minette Walters has a map of locations that inspired scenes for her books. Many of these are near Portsmouth and by looking at the pictures attached to the map locations your part of England must be quite picturesque.Do you feture any local area in your books?

Wow - such energy in all that you do. Thanks for the heads up on your books....I'm there, and to your other blogs.
My book, The Beatitudes, is a paranormal thriller set in New Orleans. It will be out in the fall and I am donating all royalties directly to the New Orleans Public Library Foundation. Libraries support the infrastructure of a great city, so I have started The Beatitudes Network to promote awareness of the importance of public libraries in NOLA.
The blogsite www.beatitudesinneworleans.blogspot.com describes the Network, has excerpts from The Beatitudes, recipes, and more. Merci mille fois. Lyn Lejeune.
Writers, please pass the word…..it’s for a good cause….don’t let the libraries of New Orleans or the US go the way of The Great Library of Alexandria. P.S. just posted an excerpt on my Crimespace page.

I also *loved* Daphne Du Maurier's Rebecca when I was a kid! It formed my idea of what a suspense novel should be. I actually named my daughter Rebecca (don't ask me why I named her after the villainess, lol).

The Outer Banks are one of my favorite places too. That makes the research and writing about it even sweeter. Its my chance to share a favorite place with others :) There's plenty of background and location information on my website at: www.nikkileigh.com/lilah.htm

Hi Jane,
You are a gutsy person doing standup comedy!
I'm in a lot of cyberspace also, blogs, myspace, website, plus I've also got a ning network called Book Place.
If you'd like to check it out, hop on over to
http://bookplace.com - It's an all genre book promotional website for readers, authors and book industry people. I just started it a week ago, but it's gaining momentum.

Agatha Christie at 12 - sounds like your father and my grandmother would have got on well - she gave me my first when I was just a couple of years younger - of course my mother nearly had a conniption fit :)

I like the sound of your books - thanks for listing them.

Hi... I'm new to crimespace and new to ning, although I do spend a lot of time in cyberspace in various blogging places. I read about this in Red Herrings and thought it sounded like a great idea.
