I think we sometimes forget that Sanjaya, those college football players, those college basketball players, are all just kids. No matter how much we cheer against them, they're under 22 years old - they're just kids. So, like you, Alafair, I felt sorry for Sanjaya.
Nice to know an ARC of Dead Connection got to you. Pub date's now July 10 so no rush. And thanks for feeling bad for Sanjaya. I thought I was the only one. With him gone, I say, Go Jordin!
I can't imagine doing crisis communication. I don't like operating in crisis mode, and you'd be doing it all the time. I have to admire someone who can do that.
Yes... this is a fun place. And a big time suck. I have to monitor myself so I'm not playing all day... Glad you liked Deadman's Switch. It was such a departure for Barbara... but she really nailed the crisis communications part .. (I used to do that in my day job..)
No problem, Tim. Just sorry it was moved from The Forum to my blog. I thought more people would see it on The Forum. However, I was told that wasn't the right place for it. Good luck! (Thanks for the compliment.)
Hi Lesa! Good to see you here, fellow Arizonan! One of my friends (also a native Arizonan) is going to the Red Hat Society bash in Nashville. Guess she'll be breaking out the feathered boa.
Deb, My Mom and sisters said the same thing, when they left an Arizona that was in the 90s for Ohio in the 30s. It wasn't a great deal of fun having an Easter egg hunt when the temperature was 33 degrees. Looking forward to your next books!
Sandra, thanks for accepting! I've been planning to join Crimespace. Just was a little busy last weekend - turning fifty takes alot out of you, particularly when there were all those surprises.
