Hi David, thanks for responding. Enjoy the genteel Barbara Vine. Didn't like The Minotaur as much as The Blood Doctor, but Vine is always a great read.

Nice to know someone is going to read The Sex Club.

PS I laughed myself off the couch watching BASEketball, the dumbest movie ever made. And I occasionally do a "Jerry hop" just for fun,

Hi David
I keep seeing your name (4MA), so I thought I'd introduce myself. I like watching choreography of any kind, and Dancing With the Stars is great fun.

David, I have a friend who reviews mysteries, which gave me additional respect for the work involved. It sounded like fun until I saw the STACKS of books she's supposed to read and comment on, most of them by last week!

Hi Dave! Seems like it was just yesterday... well, maybe a little longer. It was great talking to you, too. And now I can't remember if you're going to Thrillerfest? If so, I'll see you there...

As for those glammed up photos, amazing what photoshop can do. (No braces on my teeth... :-)

I would say a visit to Nubble would definitely be worth it. When I was younger it was a manned lighthouse and you can see the contaption they used to get to the main land. If you're timing is right, I would recommend a visit to Brown's ice cream stand quite close to Nubble. :)

Hi David. Thanks for accepting my invite. It looks as though you know how all this works? Mind a couple questions? Is there a way to create tags on blogs? Also, when I respond to someone, I've been going to there page. How do you have you response to someone elses question show on your page? Thanks. LJ

Hi,
York is on the south coast of Maine; Rockland is more mid-coast. :)

Hi David,
That lighthouse is Cape Neddick Light in York, Maine. Otherwise it's known as Nubble Light. I live in Massachusetts but my sister lives in York year round and my brother has a summer house there.

David- I've finally read my way around to Solomon and Lord. Up next, as soon as I finish Deadfolk- what a hoot!

Hey, Dave!

I'm a southern girl by birth and a New Yorker at heart, but for the time being I'm trying to get used to things like bats and really, really green grass. The bats are definitely harder to get used to. One got in the house this week sometime, and I just found him today, hanging on the grass wall of the sunroom. I'd never seen a bat in real life before I moved up here. There have been three of them in this house in four years. They're so odd.

I -so- digress.

As for becoming a professional awesome (or pro awe), it's something that has to develop over time, and when it happens, it just -happens-. I didn't plan to do it. But in a month, I'd been sent almost $100 by various people, for no apparent reason. So I figured they were paying me for being so...well...awesome. I was thinking about joining a pro awe society, but apparently there is no pro awe society. Imagine that. I may have to start one.

Take care,
Eliza

Thanks, Judy. I'm looking forward to Bouchercon being in my back yard and helping you folks with the preparation and execution.
I can't tell you how many more books I've been able to read because of audio and how many new authors I've found from doing the reviews.
Atkins I found through an interview at Mystery News. I found Koryta looking back through MWA's list of prior award nominees and suggested him to my F2F group. They all loved his book.

David -- thanks much for the kind words on the book. Glad everyone enjoyed it, and very pleased to hear it was a pick of your group. Support like that is huge to new writers.
Best,
MJK

Hi Dave.
Thanks for trying with a photo of me. I will get it worked out, eventually.
Welcome to the over-busy zoo.

I'm in PA on a dial up line and I don't know how we lived with this. 28.8 kb/s. Yaahhhh! I'm afraid I'm off unless I discover a broadband dial-up. Nup, guess not.
