Hi
I know what you do after a long writing session; you know what I do...let's be friends.

I think my Sweetie is both. He's another writer and is the heart behind It's ME! Ink Press. We are meant to be together. Our son, the cat, fills out our family nicely. We both have grown children too who call us occasionally.

Hi Carole,

I'm working on a wacky, lovable homicidal maniac. In other words, a wacabldalmanac.

Thanks for the invite, Carole. My "beast" is not so scary. A five-year-old toy poodle, Ginger. She allows me to live in my house and always sides with my wife in arguments. If you like cozies, please visit my website - www.jdwebb.com. I include no graphic violence or sex in my books. However there are murders and mayhem. You can read the first chapters of my books.
Happy to be your Crimespace friend. I agree with your book and movie choices.

Hi Carole, thanks for the invitation. That's a scary looking collection of beasts there. I have a Patterdale Terrier who looks almost exactly the same, only black;}#

Thanks for the kind comments! Most people delight in telling me how much they hated chemistry in college. Chemistry has changed a lot as a field for my generation (I'm 49) vs earlier generations- company jobs have been insecure and academic funding has been hard to obtain and keep, so it is an adventure (more than just a profession). These days, I only recommend it to people who are truly bitten by the bug. I have been pretty lucky, though.

I am American, but did my postgraduate work in England (which I finished way back in 1982), so . I've lived in St. Louis for 22 years.

It is fun for me to meet writers via this site.

I hope you have a great new year. Jim

The Big Sleep is a favorite film of mine.

Thanks Carole, I will let you know when the release date is available. Just back from the hospital and catching up on emails before carrying on with 'Cold as Ice' the sequel to my novel 'Glastonbury'. Tilly is right here beside me as usual. My friend and I are also currently working on producing a video trailer for 'A Study in Red' which should go live on my websites and You Tube later this week if my publisher approves it.

Best regards

carole, I'm honoured that you will be obtaiing a copy of 'A Studyinred'. It's out in e-book now, but the paperback version will be available by the end of the month. If you prefer the hard copy version I'd be happy to let you know as soon as my publisher informs me of the exact release date.I don't blame you for staying in, the wind is terrible! My Tilly always sits by my side when I'm writing. I call gher my 'assistant' as she never moves unitl I get up from the computer. She's my little shaodow, and is always with me. Charlie and Dylan are so loveable too, but they are boys and a bit more independent. I'll be out for a couple of hours now as ~i have to take Juliet for some tests at the hospital. Hope to be in touch again later.

Best regards

Brian

Thanks Carole, I'll be happy to think you're looking at the Ripper novel. I hope you like the look of it enough to actually buy it, lol.

I'm about to take Tilly and Charlie for a long walk now, depsite the roaring gale that's blowing outside!
