Oh cool. We have not read him yet so something to look forward to. Kid is home from school this afternoon with a headache - hopefully I can find something in the nine million books here for him to read.
Yeah - for a kid he sure has quirky taste - almost impossible to get him to pick up a young adult book. I am thinking maybe a Sandra Ruttan next? If he promises not to take it into the bath with him and treats the pages with respect. He needs lots of activity in a book and sure does appreciate some humour too.
They won. Shutout which I understand is good since Rhys is the goalie.
Him watch me read?? Only if he has a book in front of his face too. He is my Chris Grabenstein and Linwood Barclay fan (for authors of adult books instead of kiddy crime)
You would be proud of me (everyone should be) - tonight was the last hockey game of my son's team and I actually went and did not take a book - I watched (sort of). He plays goal and he was good. I hate watching hockey so he was real pleased to have me there. Rotten mother alert!!
Hey there Force of Evil (I think that is a great name) I had dinner with another pal of yours last night. Patricia was trying to figure out what 'type' of book yours is -- cosy, police procedural etc. You should have heard me trying to explain --- she is just going to have to read it herself. Maybe for our bookclub? That might work. I think it would be a good place to start
If my son joins I am going to embarrass him. Past experience tells me it is not that difficult. And yes Sandra - it would be fun. You just have to know how to torment you children. Now if it were my daughter threatening --- then I might be scared. She would steal all my friends
Hey Kathy- my oldest is 21 and he was the one who forbade MySpace for me too. Mind you he also threatened to join here under a name I do not know and spy on me. Rotten brat.
You have a lot of the same Favs that I failed to mention on my profile ... Nice to meet you ... As I keep saying ... I hope this doesn't take too much of my time.
LC, good to see you here! I seem to be again in dog years these days! I don't think I'll ever break down and go on MySpace. Just not a worthwhile investment of time, I don't think.

Chris Grabenstein and Linwood Barclay, huh? Good for him! He's got good taste in books.

But what you didn't tell me was whether or not they won.
I think SC is a mainstream police procedural with an amateur sleuth element.
How's that for convoluted?!
Everyone, read Suspicious Circumstances.
