Thank you. I believe that communication using the fewest words is a most desirable art. Over the years I have reduced my wordiness considerably. Hopefully in a few more years I will be a true master and not needs words at all. Imagine if you will a novel of 400 pages without a single word. Glorious!
Thanks for your request. I am no spring chicken (72 in December) but have an interest in what is going on in the world. I taught high school English for over 15 years and worked in public libraries from 1979-97 but went on to partime for another few years (Sundays) and finally "retired" to a PERS lifestyle. Widowed this year, I have time to pursue my love of reading and writing.
Thanks for inviting me. I will check out your shorts, and your book. I am always looking for new authors to read. I also think that I could have gone on and on about who I read, what I saw. I'm interested in your short about San Francisco. I was on the East Coast at the time, and missed the cauldron that was S.F. at the time.
Thanks for the message - raising sheep is in no way exotic - I have "L" plates on, was not born or raised on a farm, so learn something new each year - mainly about death.
Highland Library don't seem to offer your books, nor many of the authors who feature on this website. I have to assume that you may be well known in USA, but haven't got this far in UK. So, I have made a note of all book details and will attempt to get the service to get hold of copies of books. You might get a wider readership "overseas" if nothing else - we live in hope.
I realise, I haven't exactly left many details about myself, so I will go an attempt to update my "profile". At the same time, I'll see if your books are available in the Highlands Library Service - as your published book sounds just terrific. My nearest bookstore by the way is around 100 miles away.
Hey, glad to meet you. Nice smile.
Thanks for the invite.
I think writing a crime story is better than composing children books, at least I think it's more fun. Hey, I love children, matter of fact, I'm working on a parenting manuscript. But writing crime is awesome!!
Hi, I'm excited to hear from you. Does this mean I have to change my profiles that say I don't know the authors personally (in the interests of full disclosure)? I look forward to reading your work and blog, and to exchanging thought on thrillers. For some reason I haven't tagged my blog with the word "thriller", but it is just an oversight of an infant blogger: a read thrillers quite avidly. So, you have already given me ideas of what to write next. Best wishes, Jim
Ms. Stark,
Thanks for being my crimespace friend. Go to my web site at www.charlottesmysteries.com and read more about me, my books, and some short stories I have written. I have to admire someone who reads the Wall Street Journal from cover to cover. That's an accomplishment in itself. Your book sounds wonderful. Where can I pick it up?

Thanks for the invite/initial message.
