Hi, L.A. -- Thanks for the well wishes for Galveston. I don't live there these days (am a resident of Austin), but still have family there who are re-building like mad. Perhaps when I become Rich and Famous (tm) I will retire there. A gal can dream... MK

Hiya, thanks for the friend add. Wondering what's up with you at the moment and how your writing is coming along. Mine is slow but steady. At this very moment putting together a module on horror films for next half term at school. Kids are hard to interest in most things so having to think hard. Last half term did module on Street Crime, which was related directly to their experiences and held their attention for some of the time. And, I'm watching a silly film called Alone in the Dark which has fabulous views of Vancouver in it. In particular, some inside shots of the Museum of Anthropology on the UBC (Univ of Brit Columbia) campus. Makes me homesick as I'm from Vancouver and went to UBC.

Thanks for the invite. My first day on the job so to speak. You are a foundation for CrimeSpace. My great American Novel that will head for the best seller list might be a guy who has yet to be conceived, allowed to gestate, pampered into full childhood, racked by adolescence, educated, gets a home(small)town job, has bunch of kids and finally moves into his own double wide with a pickup parked in front near the dog pen. Smile, this is not me! I would write more about the titanic being the modern church and the ice berg being the gigantic crush of the powers of our neuropsycho states unleashed. welcoome, friend. hugh

Have you read the book "Oil" by Upton Sinclair?? If so, what did you think? I just bought it myself.

Thank you for writing, to welcome me.
