Arlene, Love the elk in front of the housing development. Says a lot about both. So's whose picture is that on CrimeSpace? Your grandma?? Check out the pix on my Website, especially the "vintage photos" accessed from the top of the Photo page. Best regards,
I had a wonderful time. What a delightful bunch of women! It is so nice to do something informally for a change. And I'm glad you're enjoying the books!
I absolutely love the titles of your books. As far as Myspcae, I am trying, and also a coouple other places like Facebook. Crimespace is the easiest to work with. I have the most trouble downloading photos and music.
My book, The Beatitudes, is a paranormal thriller set in New Orleans. It will be out in the fall and I am donating all royalties directly to the New Orleans Public Library Foundation. Libraries support the infrastructure of a great city, so I have started The Beatitudes Network to promote awareness of the importance of public libraries in NOLA.
The blogsite www.beatitudesinneworleans.blogspot.com describes the Network, has excerpts from The Beatitudes, recipes, and more. Merci mille fois. Lyn Lejeune.
Writers, please pass the word…..it’s for a good cause….don’t let the libraries of New Orleans or the US go the way of The Great Library of Alexandria. P.S. just posted an excerpt on my Crimespace page.
Arlene: No, I haven't had the time yet to tackle My Space - or the nerve either, being about an eyelash above computer illiterate. LOL.
I'm about the latest 'late bloomer' I've run into yet, though there are some more Zumayans who say they aren't 'spring chickens. LOL
I've got two books with Zumaya, one just out from another publisher and one coming in Sept. 2007 - I'm plannilng on writing as long as I can see the monitor - ha!
Best always,
Jackie

Hi, Arlene! I've just discovered Crimespace and your page and am 'visiting around' - which is one of the good things about fellow writers' digests and groups. :-)
I'm not very computer literate (which is probably
the understatement of the year-LOL) but enjoy 'meeting' and talking with other writers and readers. I'm a 'late bloomer' who didn't start writing full time till I retired, so I missed my chance to grow up to be Mary Higgins Clark :-) but I'm visiting, and chatting, and listening to all the talented digests and groups - and I plan on writing as long as I can see the monitor - LOL
Good luck and best wishes to all of us here at Crimespace or wherever,
Jackie
