Hi Scarlett, nice to meet you. Congrats on breaking into the 'published at book length' group, but you've probably already found it's a bit less fun than it should be. Where in NW Indiana do you live. As a kid I lived for a time on a farm near Demotte, IN. I find that even now, no one knows where Demotte is-- not far from Rennsalear--not sure I'm spelling that right. Anyway, best of luck.

Hi Scarlett
Interesting CV. You're past the tricky 2nd novel phase then. I've poured so much into REAPER, my first one, that I'm a little stumped for ideas for the next one. Good luck with the film.

Well, I hope your son's metal band doesn't rehearse round at your place ... unless you've got a very big, soundproofed place, that is ... because Condemned sounds like a LOUD kinda band, and probably a tad thrash-y too, I'd guess.

On the other hand, I'm proud to be your dog ... !

Thanks for the invite and good luck with the books and screenplay, but one thing I've got to know ... "condemned" FOR what, and TO what?!

Hi Scarlett, from another Five Star/Thomson Gale author. Like you, I love the mysteries in novels. Even more, I love to write them!

Hi Scarlett, Bad Thoughts is my second book, and first one with Five Star. My third book is coming out next year through the UK publisher, Serpent's Tail, which I'm excited about. I agree with you, Five Star's been great--the people there are terrific.

Hi Scarlett

Thanks for the invite. A fellow Patterson fan -- nice. And Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte - also a favorite of mine I hadn't thought of in years.

Hi Scarlett, thanks for the invite. Five Star's also publishing a crime/horror book of mine which has some similarities to your Five Star book. I'm going to have to check yours out!!--Dave

Hi Scarlett:

Hey; did your newspaper interview go well? Your blogs sound sharp and witty so I suspect you did a *great* job.

Mystery and horror are my favorites, too -- or, as I tell people when I want to watch their expression, "anything where somebody gets killed."

Hey!

Hoping to be at the next LIM. I'm in transition right now, but I'm thinking that by the next one (February, right?) I should be settled and ready to go. I'd love to be there and do some more author interviews. I had a blast with you guys last time!

Scarlett -

GREAT to see you here! I've got Unfinished Business in the line up. I have two books for prereview before I can get to it. (It keeps getting bumped because of that.) THANKS for your patience. =0)

You spoke a while with my Mom at LIM. Did you get her email? She LUVed ... I believe it was Destiny's Call. She doesn't normally read paranormals, and she really, really enjoyed it.

Talk with you soon!
