If you liked the black background, too bad. I changed it because I think this is more readable. I'm a writer. More readable is better, whether that means design or the way I construct sentences.
Thank you Eric... I have tried looking for an agent. One I liked a lot was Elaine P. English. She use to work for a big pubisher, and now taking on 18 clients at a time.
I guess I'll go the way you did and see what happens. You have some useful information and I thank you for all that you have offered.
I thought what you did was excellent! It's hard to get to everyone and with one email, it's said. I was wondering what you did to get published? Still looking myself.
Hey Eric - Got your email, and if you're ever around Chicago, let me know. As for tattoos, well, I have enough that my daughter often asks what's wrong with the other daddies who don't have any. Heh.
Thanks for the email! Yeah, we already talked and met but it was great to hear that you are interested and want to know the people in this group that you care.
Hey Eric, Where did you work in Asia? I mean countries. I gotta say, you've sold me one of your books when I can find one. So you did economics, politics, culture, sex, drugs. Was this in Asia? I worked as a science writer in NM and taught Journalism at New Mex State U. Then worked as a medical writer in LA and did some freelance work for the Times and the Pasadena Star-News. Then for the sake of my own economics, I went to work at the water district, which is why my first novel was about California water wars, and the 2nd had a medical backdrop.
Hi Eric, cheers for the invite, much obliged. I got a tattoo about ten years ago, a Wile E. Coyote suspended over a canyon ... the idea being to get a deliberately cartoonish version of Beckett's existential 'I can't go on. I'll go on.' mantra ... I've never regretted it. It's an abiding philosophy. And I still love Wile E. ... Cheers, Dec
Hi Eric, nice to meet you! I, too, was a journalist for many years, but nothing so daring as Asia. What a great set up for thrillers. I'm envious. I lived in LA for several years, which is why two of my books are set there and both involve the work I did, so I guess that sort of thing is a natural. How did you happen to get assigned to Asia?
Yes, the Uncles have the advantage. They get to enjoy the kids without the responsibility of the child/teen. I think parenting is the hardest job out of any job. Constant testing and reassuring, giving pats on the back for encouragement and listenting to the last boyfriend breakup...
A belated 'thank you' for the invite, Eric. We passed a tattoo parlour a few days ago and my husband was teasing me about the number of times I've "almost" done it.

Are the subtitles in Thai? It's a very pretty written language!
I noticed you were on the site. Thanks for asking me first. You guys were great on that panel on the 24th. I think the audience got a kick out of it.
Looking forward to the new book, hope to see you signing at our store shortly there after.
