How cool to meet another writing team. For DOUBLETAKE, I collaborated with a great lady, Margaret Sutton, and we took our last names to make a pen name. It is the only thing we have written together, but it was a blast. Also, we didn't have to commute quite as far to work together.

Thanks Evelyn for the Chatter you added to my page... Anyone who says "It's a Wonderful Life" is one of their favorite movies has a warm heart and a gentle soul and must be a person who knows what a good story is all about. Hey, maybe we should start a web group, "The Wonderful People Who Write." Kidding aside, thanks for the nice comments. Hey, I'll be stopping by for my chocolate and punch at your next event.

Okay, I just accidentally deleted a message. Who knew what that red "x" meant? For some reason I thought that might be how you reply. Oh, well. Will the author who has relatives in Edmond, OK write back?

I'm, Rhonda, the southern half of Evelyn David. I live in Muskogee, about 140 miles from Edmond. We've under a tornado watch night. Spring in Oklahoma is always exciting.

Oh, and I meant to tell you that Hrothgar is the name of the king whose land Beowulf defends against Grendl and his mother!

You know, I did see the film, "Rebecca," first, come to think of it. But I do love the book. I also liked du Maurier's short story from which Hitchcock made "The Birds." Small and chilling--wish I could write like that!

Hi Evelyn, Hey, I just read a review of your book. Here's part of what it said, "Murder Off The Books is a clever, witty romp with plenty of twists and surprises. A laudable debut."
Wow, I'm hooked. I'll be ordering it soon. Nice job and thanks for adding my name to your list.
