Hi Jim,

I used to live and work in Banchory, not too far from Aberdeen, and not a million miles from your neck of the woods.

Hi Jim,
Looks like we read many of the same authors. What kind of cartoons do you draw/ (political, slice of life, satire, serial?)

Your avatar looks like the guy who stole *Woody* in Toy Story II, but I see you fit the description. except tof the fat and cartoonist part, it fits me.

I love small towns. There's a lot of history in most of them that only the locals know :o) I grew up near Chicago, so a big city (like Glasgow) is interesting but sometimes too crowded and shopping oriented. We spent part of a day wandering around Kilmarnock and Ayr (my mother was born in Crookedholm) and had a great time peeking in the local shops. I could say the same about Champaign...the university makes it the town it is. Otherwise we'd be a village in the corn fields.

Welcome Jim, I'm a big Lee Child fan as well. We missed Falkirk on our May trip to Scotland (too much to do, too little time) but it is definitely a beautiful country. Love the graphic.
