Oh, Lori. You flatter me. I'm too old and too wide (we won't go there) to ride a motorcycle. But I needed one in my last book so I went to the local HD shop and they were so helpful - didn't make me feel stupid at all. After the book came out, they asked me to come and sign there. Word spread, and I've been in several shops now. I have some photos of me at some of the shops. When I get the hang of it, I'll put one on here. I ended up in Sturgis when I was in SD while the rally was going on. Didn't know anything like that existed. Was a true experience to remember.
You're welcome Mary. I never was a "horse lovin' girl" even when my cousins had horses. Now that I'm older...I keep asking for a horse for my birthday. I don't have horses in any of the Julie Collins books, so I hope you won't be disappointed.
Thanks for being my friend, Lori. I saw somewhere on this site (I'm still trying to find my way around) that someone thought it strange that you lived and wrote in SD. Don't understand that. I've only been there one time, but found it a beautiful and inspiring place. Am going to look for one of your books.
