Any fan of "Law and Order" is a friend of mine. Also love the photos - congrats on the (relatively) new book! - Clea
*WOW* GREAT JOB on the latest Event! I really wanted to be there too, but I had a major disaster with my computer when I got in the night before. I couldn't even get the power to turn on, so my PC is completely dead now. Not that it wasn't past it's life expectancy, but I wasn't really expecting to have to go out and buy a laptop this soon. Now that I have a laptop, I'm really getting into this wireless connection and enjoying the space and speed that's increased about ten fold or so from what I was used to. Now I'll be able to work on here faster than ever before:-)
Hi. I enjoyed the pictures from your Book Launch Party and also very much enjoyed reading the excerpt from your "Blue Heron Marsh". It sounds like a very intriguing story. I think I may just have to read it! Best wishes, Betty Ann
Thanks for the invitation to the Book Launch Party at your home yesterday. I added a blog with a photo of us that was taken by your son Chris. I've read the book though and totally enjoyed it both times. I'm looking forward to reading the next one when you've got it ready to roll. :-)
I am at that stage. I have the characters and the storyline and now just seeing where the story leads me. We have three dogs, Lab,Golden and a hound dog, and recently a neighbors cat has selected my girls as his best friend.
I'm looking forward to the Book Launch this weekend, and am really excited about what a GREAT read "Blue Heron Marsh" is. I had such a hard time trying to put it down, once I'd started, that I found myself seeing the sun rise and the final page completed before I put it down. Now I'm looking forward to seeing the series continue and getting to know Web Sawyer even better. :-)
Doug, you wrote: "Your virtual tour idea intrigued me. I printed out your ideas on it and hope to read it this evening. Who did your book trailer? "
First, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions on the VBT. There's more to it, but my article was a quick review of the how-to's that worked for me.
With respect to the trailer, I created it. I feel like a one-woman show with this book, I co-designed the cover, designed my website and blog, created the trailer, am doing (like everyone else) the bulk of my marketing and promotion and ... oh yeah! I wrote the book too! LOL I absolutely love every aspect of writing and publishing. If given the chance to change anything, I would add a few more hours to my day.
