Hi Fran - I am glad your class are enjoying hearing about a village way on the other side of the world. I've tried to put some interesting things in today's post for them.
Hi Fran
Nice to meet you. Except for the pets (and I hope it's not a deal breaker), I love all the same things you do. And I once had dogs before I raised kids.
Thanks for the invite. I just finished The Blood Ballad by Rett MacPherson and I loved it. A review is posted on bestsellersworld.com. Also sent the review to booksnbytes but David is behind in posting.
If you get a chance to read Christopher Valen's White Tombs it is great - his first book and a good one.
Hey World Traveller! I was thinking about you yesterday. Picked up a book (not one I liked but that is beside the point) that is largely set in India. Hope you are having a wonderful time!
It would if it were at a different time - we could not leave here till Friday and would have to be home on Sunday. Not long enough to be worth it. Home early on Sunday at that. Sigh. Kids take up so much time.
ok where am I draggin Fran? Baltimore to Toronto is a bit of a trip...Lynne it would make a perfect 4 day break for you and Colin..
So Fran are you having a certain houseguest in Aug?
You might think I missed the comment on 4MA but I saw it. You are wise to run. I might go to B'con just to see which of talks more and faster! If only it weren't right when daughter has her high school grad. Sniff.
A fellow Tasmanian? What are the chances? lol Thanks for dropping by. You love Tasmanian sunshine, huh? Need patience for that, lately. I'm in the north west --ie, the boonies. :-)
Thank you Patricia. I must confess I that had this page up at work yesterday and we kept listening proudly to our own band clip on and off all morning. These kids have now moved on to high school and it will be a few months before the next batch is ready to be videoed!
And about time too, Sally. This place is so much fun and I know you'll love it. If I could cadge a few more hours every day I'd probably spend it here cruising from page to page.
