Hi Brian, You're very welcome. By the way, posting a review on Amazon was already on my mind. If I really enjoy a book, I look for places to post comments where all can see. It's important to get the word out, and yes, people do read those customer reviews. I personally put more stock in them than in professional reviewers' comments. I'll write it up nicely and post it on there and it will show up as J F. More than happy to do it. Joyce

Brian, I received A Study in Red on Friday late afternoon and finished it in the afternoon on Saturday. Oh my goodness. I hardly know where to begin. It is an amazing story you've written, and your research shows. What did you do - find a time machine, go back, watch and take notes? There is no way I saw the end coming (if it really was the end that is). I cannot say enough good things about it except to say that I most definitely want to read your sequel the SECOND it comes out and your other work as well. I wish you tremendous success with this and all your writing and I'm adding this book to my favorites' list on all my sites. Thanks for a completely different perspective on this subject. Superior job. Joyce

If there's something I know I want to read, I make sure I get my hands on it. I'm an obsessive reader - usually have two or three books going at the same time, and I really can keep them straight too. I just found out a little while ago that my book shipped, so I'll have it sooner than I originally anticipated; probably before the end of this week, so that's fantastic! Talk soon, Joyce

Hi Brian, Already looked it over and ordered it this afternoon. I'm very anxious to read it, and you will hear from me when I'm done. Once I finish it, I look forward to reading more of your work. Like I said, right up my alley. Joyce

Oh yes, I know, it's who you know and not what you know. Let me tell you, I'm stealing a deal with a film deal... my first book is about out and all I can say is we all live the dream. I've got a lot going cause I got friends. That's why all these people who are published got there way through. So I'm stepping it up, way up and going for FILM!

You have certainly been a very busy man in the last several months. Congratulations.
Wanted to let you know I am still alive. We adopted a rescue pup, Germany Shepherd female, named Hank. I'll post pictures soon.
Keep Well and enjoy your success. Am so proud of you.

Say Brian you have beautiful covers. Who's doing your cover art? By the way, Tess Gerritsen has given me a great blurb for my next novel, DEAD ON. I am currently offering the book up to anyone who takes the trouble to download it. It can be reconstituted from a pdf file to a doc file to a Kindle or other reader straight from www.robertwalkerbooks.com

Hope you're having a great holiday weekend, buddy.

I will vote today. I received the book today and it's now on my to do list.
Just returned from taking the dogs to the vet for a pedicure and anal gland express. haha
Man it smells BAD. I would like to have another dog but I plan on having knee replacement soon. One down about five years ago and now the other knee. I am ready.
Take care

Brian,

I finally got around to ordering "A Study In Red" from Amazon. It take me awhile but I accomplish tasks eventually. My Son brings me so many books to read I can't up. I'm almost finished with both the John Hart books, then John Sandford's new book then Baldacci and I hope that's it. C J Box is coming May 31st to a bookstore nearby and I will purchase his book so I feel panicked.
I'm excited to read your book and can't wait for it to arrive. If only I could read faster. haha

That is all
Kenny

Brian,

You were right, Twelfth Card was fantastic! Lots of lovely twists and turns, very edgy throughout! Thanks for the tip!

Hi Brian,
Glad to see there's another dog rescuer out there. My wife and I got our dog from a rescue shelter here in Los Angeles and would never give him up! Also interesting to see how your publishing electronically....cheers.

Of course! I forgot who you were writing about. Too much fun in the sun yesterday. And I'm going out there again today. Two days away from the computer. Will I experience withdrawals?
