Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”

Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."

Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"

Book Synopsis:

The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.

Hi everyone! Sorry it has been so long since I was here last time. Things have been a little crazy around my house for me this past year. I have severe rhumatoid arthritis with weakened bones; which resulted in (I am sorry to say) many bad falls (and broken bones). So I was put on alot of pain medicine; which resulted in me getting used to taking them-everyday! Then I started having bad reactions, so my doctor (that I had at the time-but no longer have) took me off them "cold turkey!". Excuse my "english" but that sent into hell for a long time. But I did manage to get off them, but trying to do this, I could barely function for the very longest of time. While all this was going on, I (please believe me) could barely do anything, let alone read my books (I got a few partially read)but then would have to put them down. I am so very sorry if I let any of you down, I really did not mean to do anything bad to anyone, so I hope you can forgive me. I am doing pretty good now, just back from a total knee replacement on my left knee and getting better each day. I just thought of something, was I okay in writing this to all of you here? I just wanted to let you all know why I haven't been around in such a long time. Take care, each and every one of you! God Bless from all of my HEART. Grandma591 Diane Meyer Grandma591@hotmail.com

Dan, I will be glad to read your novel. I like not only true crime, but crime fiction, horror, romance (with a little murder, mystery, and mayhem thrown in for good measure), I also like thrillers. Well, I just LOVE books!! And the reading just goes along with the love of books. I have always dreamed of living in a house surrounded by all kinds of books! Not do too bad a job either, I have over 500 books on shelves in my bedroom. My favorite places to be, a book store and online at a website for books or authors. Thank you for answering back. Take care. God Bless. Diane Meyer (Grandma591)

Can anyone out there tell me if there are any new books or articles on true crime that I may not have seen or heard of yet? Living in a small farm community(pop.6000) we don't always hear or see all of the news. I'd like to know more about true crime from other countries. I have a couple of books on Soviet union's serial killer "Chickatillo"(sp?). I don't just like serial killers, I want to know about other crimes too. I'm not quite sure why I like true crime so much, but I do like to study people, very interesting subject really. Would really appreciate it if you can let me know of anything new in the true crime world, maybe some articles, anything I would appreciate. Take everyone. If you need something,if I can help, I will. I want to get some new friends that are interested in true crime too. Thanks. Take care. God Bless from all of my HEART. Diane Meyer Grandma591
