Obscenely underrated film by Alex Proyas -- a dark fantasy / dystopia sci-fi / graphic novel-esque hybrid that scooped The Matrix by a year. Fritz Lang's Metropolis meets Philip K. Dick. Lots of flicks that've come after gank it shamelessly. And remember when film trailers took their sweet time?
