Launching The Cambodian Book of the Dead at the UBUD Writers and Readers Festival with Khmer chanteuse Srey Thy singing a Khmer funeral chant containing aspects of my novel was a great privilege. I could not have hoped for a better introduction. The Cambodian Book of the Dead, a hardboiled thriller set in post war Cambodia featuring German detective Maier is out with Crime Wave Press in Thailand and Cambodia, and will be available with Exhibit A in the US, Canada and UK in mid-2013.
