Hi guys. I'd like to invite you to visit my new blog called The Graveyard Shift. Actually, the blog is more of a fact/Q&A site for writers regarding police procedure, CSI, and forensics. Stop by if you get a chance. I'd love to know what you think.

Just as I'm taking a course in Criminalistics, you turn up to help. Thanks. Invaluable stuff, especially the illustrations.
I think we'll all have fun and learn together. Although i'm not sure what I'll do when I run out of pictures.
You don't need pictures all the time, Lee. Your knowledge about police matters is encyclopedic. You have shared this freely in the past on other sites. Nothing is to prevent your running some of the questions and answers again on the new blog.

Much good luck!
Thanks, Ingrid. The idea for the blog came about because I had so many photos left over from the research of my book. I took well over a thousand pictures so they'll last a while. But you're right, we'll always have something to talk about with or without photographs.
Y'know, you really are one of the nicest, coolest dudes in the community! Thanks a ton for being so generous with your time and expertise on matters near and dear to the hearts of crime fiction writers. Thanks! I'll be adding this blog to my bookmarks.
Thanks, Angie. You're too kind.
Don't take this the wrong way, but speaking as an old MWF'er it's about time. I'm looking forward to dropping by often.

Charles
Hi Charles. Okay, so I'm slow. :)

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the MWF'ers on the blog.
Feel free to join in on the discussions, Steve.
It's a good one, Lee. I read about half a dozen cop blogs, but I think those guys take the "police work 101" aspects of their jobs for granted. Your new one will fill in the blanks nicely! Thanks so much for getting this up and running!
Thanks, Christa. We'll see how the test drive goes and if there's enough response I'll keep it going. So far things are looking good.
Lee,
I want to know how in the world you sneaked a camera into a jail to take a picture. If I had done when I worked as a deputy sheriff, I would have been fired.
