Hey, it's not just Joyce's "Working Stiffs" blog. I'm there, too! ;-) But I do agree about the wonderful part.
That's a big oops. I'm sorry Annette, I knew that. My brain is fried this week.
No problem, Doug. My brain is fried more weeks than it's not. Besides, Joyce does do a huge amount of work keeping Working Stiffs...well...working.
Fortunately an easy fix, however!
Doug,

You may also want to check out Murderous Musings, just begun this week by Chester Campbell, an 80-plus year-old former newsman turned mystery novelist. The five member panel of mystery writers includes Ben Small, Chester Campbell, Mark W. Danielson, Beth Terrell and yours truly. http://murderousmusings.blogspot.com/
Two Philadelphia-based ones are http://www.DetectivesBeyondBorders.blogspot.com/ and Duane Swierczynski's (http://secretdead.blogspot.com/).
Definitely Julia Buckley's blog. I don't know how the woman does it. In fact, I received an email from her this morning, letting me know that someone had just left a comment on the interview I did with her on Mysterious Musings...a year ago! I also like Lee Lofland's blog, The Graveyard Shift...lots of good technical advice and information there for crime writers who have maybe not necessarily ever been crime fighters in their real lives. I had a blog once a couple of years back, but had to give it up because it was too labor intensive. Now I'm producing a crime fiction podcast called NETDRAG, and seem to spend most of my time at home wandering back and forth from my writing room to the refrigerator with a USB microphone headset cable trailing along behind me, so go figure.
Speaking of Julia Buckley, here's some semi-BSP: Julia also blogs on Poe's Deadly Daughters at http://www.poesdeadlydaughters.blogspot.com with me, Sandy Parshall, Sharon Wildwind, Lonnie Cruse, and Darlene Ryan. I think all my blog sisters are terrific writers with an amazing range, and I'm proud to share a corner of cyberspace with them.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention two blogs, one is "InkSpot," the home of the "Inkers" - authors from Midnight Ink Books at http://midnightwriters.blogspot.com/.

The other is my beloved Black Widow Agency blog which is always good for an amusement - women hanging out, cybercrime, chocolate, menopause, more chocolate, a few chocolate recipes thrown in here and there: http://blackwidowagency.blogspot.com/

(Who, according to Booklist, is "...serious competition for James Patterson's "Women's Murder Club." Thank you!)
