Hi, all.

 

Will I see anyone at the Crimebake conference in Dedham, Mass., Nov. 12-14? I believe this will be my fifth.

 

I signed up for a agent pitch, but I have decided that this will be my last. That goes also for cold queries. I'm making this a public announcement to help prevent any backsliding on my part.

I am curious about your statement as to this being your last time to pitch. Are you giving up writing? Giving up trying to find an agent? What's the scoop? I had 80 rejections from agents on my novel (and this is the third novel I wrote) before going with a small press.

I did leave that unclear, didn't I? No, I'm not giving up writing. My short stories are doing pretty well, and with my novels I'm going to look into self-publishing, ebooks, POD, etc.
