Hrothgar looks like a mighty fine lab. I have a chocolate lab named Murphy. His dog hair is so thick in my pickup, no one will ride with me but him.
Congrats on the thrillers coming out!
  • Sandra Ruttan

When I go to conferences I get called perky. I go into Energizer Bunny mode. I figure I can sleep when I die...

Congrats on the book! Sounds like you have a lot of stuff going on!
  • Laura Benedict

Lots of stuff, but It's all in that slow start-up phase now. Trying to get some work done in the meanwhile. Will you be at Thrillerfest?
  • Bill Cameron

Hi, Laura. I just thought I'd mention I'm originally a Cinci boy myself, but it's been lo these many years...
  • Christa M. Miller

A return thanks for friending me, Laura. Looking forward to getting to know you!
  • Tribe

I didn't know you were an Ohio person...I thought I was the only one here with that disadvantage.
  • Laura Benedict

    Hey--I don't think of it as Ohio-capped, but Ohio-capable!
  • Victor Gischler

    Laura,

I'd love to hear more about the anthology Srreal South.

I wonder why I keep addressing people with "hey?" I have to stop that!
  • Jennifer Jordan

Hey! It's a good way to draw attention amidst all the chaos.
  • Laura Benedict

Then as one of the several Queens of Entropy, I feel so validated! Thanks, Jennifer!

Give me a shout if you're in the neighborhood. Carbondale is kind of a sweet place, though we live in the country environs. My honey teaches at SIU--but we ain't makin' no SIU babies of our own!

Dear Laura: Oh, if only you truly were at the bottom of the pile, and the room was dark, and we were young . . .
