My 'job-that-pays-the-bills' is a stressful one so I enjoy reading and writing just to steal a few moments away for myself. I enjoy traveling and seeing places I've never been before. I am currently a criminal investigator for the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office. Before this gig, I was a sergeant with the Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Police Department, and a Deputy U.S. Marshal (for a short time).
I'm excited to mingle with other crime writers and readers through this site. Since I've been in law enforcement for over twenty years, I have plenty of stories to tell!
Steven,
I don't think you'll make it another seventeen years in that profession. You'll go insane first. Seeing nothing but the seamy side of life and dealing with the low-lifes that go with the job changes ya.
Hi Steven, thanks for the Invite! I took a short jaunt to Oklahoma on an extradition a few years back. The weather was gorgeous, as was the countryside. (We had but a half day to explore.)
