Hi Stephanie
You're the fourth person on this site I've met from Colorado Springs. You'll be writing mysteries soon. It's something in the water there.
Hi LJ! I hope being from Colorado Springs isn't a "bad" thing. I don't know if I'll be writing mysteries any time soon--I'll have to leave that genre up to my Uncle Ed.
I never even suspected that you might be interested. The LCC tends to suck up all one's time, but I should have though to stay a day later.
Ah, well...
I miss seeing you, and you look beautiful.
I've heard about RMN, but I don't read it, nor do I read the Denver Post. I'm a die-hard Gazette fan, especially because of YourHub.
It sounds like your past would definitely make a good mystery/thriller! Can't wait to read it!
Yes, CS has definitely changed a lot in the last couple of decades since you've been here (I just celebrated my 12th anniversary of moving here on March 22). Powers Blvd. used to be the east edge of town, but now it's getting to be Marksheffel, and even that one is fading fast. We'll be butting up against Kansas before we know it!
I don't do politics so anything faintly resembling that is totally over my head, and even religion is a very sticky subject in this city. My uncle (not Ed) said that Colorado Springs is the "Christian Capital of the United States." I don't know about that, but it's probably pretty close.
