If I run out of books, I will pull out my magnifying glass and read the tiny print on the medicine bottle, the inside of my shoes (who knew they were crafted in Bora Bora?), and all the information on food cans and boxes. I also edit a little, but that's another story....
I Am A:
Reader, Editor
Books And Authors I Like:
Mari Sloan, Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Dave Barry, Michael Palmer, any books on needlecrafts (all of them), Any book that can hold my attention is a-one on my list, including every genre' except self-help, which has a tendency to depress me. I already know that if I hit myself in the foot with a hammer, I'll react badly.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
I've given up on TV, and get my news from various sources on the Internet. I love movies and if I want to see good series TV, I can go to Netflix and find anything I want. Right now, I'm up to my earlobes in "House of Cards," a political British BBC wonder.
Hi Margaret. You can find my book in all the usual places. It's available in Barnes and Noble, Borders, Book-A-Million, etc. You can also order it from Amazon and the other online outlets as well as from The Writers Digest Book Club.
My dog would never allow me to dress her up. She'd rather freeze in below zero temperature rather than get something slipped onto her.
And we've had lots of frigid weather this winter!

Hi Margaret, good to meet someone as old as I am around here.....the years fly by. My email address is sdicks@blomand.net send me an email....I'd love to include you in my book, There IS Life After Fifty..it's almost finished....
I just had a traier done for my latest book, A Mothers Torment and hope it helps in the sales. If it does, I'll have one done for the other books I have.....I think it came out pretty good and they did a good job with it. It's on this site and also on www.amotherstorment.com Let me know what you think of it if you get to see it. Shirley
Glad you couldn't resist Tilly. She's my 'assistant' and never leaves my side while I'm working. she's a 4 year old crossbreed terrier who's a whiz at Search & Rescue work, Flyball and best of all she's an 'expert' in the Agility Ring. Not bad for a little dog who was abandoned and ledt out to freeze to death before being rescued and coming to live with us eh? All 4 of our dogs are rescue dogs, and all could tell a harrowing tale or two about their previous lives. Your dog looks really cute. What's his/her name? It's good to know you and have you as a friend. Hope you enjoy browsing my page. Maybe one day one of my books might grab you and save you from reading the information on the medecine bottles. (Not good for your eyes, all that small print).
I'll loook forward to hearing from you again, I hope.
Hey~! I see you're having fun here! My cat is still bigger than your dog but that is without the noise factor. I've heard your babies over the phone. :-)

Hi Margaret
Your list reminded me that I'd forgotten to put Michael Palmer on mine. And I'm with you on TV. The writers strike convinced me I'm fine without it.
And I'm a compulsive editor too. It sometimes ruins my pleasure in reading.
I love Wolves too. I also have an aversion to creditors, have plenty of my own so can't help with those. Puccini is great, a real character by the looks of him. Great to hear from you Margaret. I'd suggest 'A Study in Red' if you want one of my books. I'm afradi I've just heard that Rain Publishing are closing, so Galstonbury won't be appearing as planned until I find a new publisher for it,.
SEVEN?!!! wow! you must have a lot of space. we do--but not acres. but if we did, I bet I'd have kept them all. I still can't get over your doggie. Yours and mine would play all day I'm sure. By the way, I work in the kitchen and Indy likes to sit either directly in front of my laptop or ON it! seriously! all the best.
Mari Sloan
