northwoodsgirl, once upon a crime was great! they had a HUGE turnout. i got to meet finally meet jon and ruth! i'm not sure where i'm moving. isn't that weird? i keep hoping something exciting drops in my lap!
hi Anne,
Glad someone actually still wants to say hi after I screwed up and used the 'social network' option thinking I was just contacting friends. Man, did I get blasted. DO NOT set up a social network and send e-mails because it sends messages to people's private e-mail addresses--and I had no idea. Apparently this is considered spam, something I do not like anymore than the next person. Now I am feeling awful Anyway, who is your editor at NAL? My newest deadline is in 9 days, which probably explains why I am stressed and talking too much and feeling dumb! Take care and thanks for inviting me ! Leann
Hi Anne - just wanted to say how impressed I am with your new-found ability to add pics! Looking good. I'm feeling ashamed of my own page - must do something with it over the Easter hols.
Where are you getting this great pictures, Anne? All I am capable of uploading are my kitty pictures. Not that I will try to upload anything else. I'd probably end up sending everyone in the world a picture of my cat. And then I would promptly be drawn and quartered. :-)
Anne Whats going on? I hope all is well. I can't wait for the next book. The visitors at the library love your stories. i never see your books in there they are always checked out. THANK YOU !!!
northwoodsgirl, that's great news about the books. i got a lovely thank-you letter from the library -- very nice of them to do that!
i'm busing packing and getting ready to move. i'm moving three miles away. haha!
Hi, Anne! I've not explored Crimespace enough, but was glad to see you on here. (I can't look at your page very long though, it makes me feel sorry for mine. You know, the one with people complaining that I need to spruce up the place.) Oh well... Take care.
karyn, thanks so much for checking on me. i've been glued to the TV all day, plus the phone has been ringing and people have been emailing. my daughter crossed the bridge three times yesterday -- typical usage for her since she works on both sides of the river. she knew of the collapse minutes after it happened, so she called me before i saw it on the news.
I have freinds who teach at Hopkins High school and have an 18 month old daughter. Ironically, they were in San Francisco all week-the place that is supposed to fall down. I also have an uncle and aunt in Cottage Grove. They are fine, not venturing out much these days.
karyn, i'm currently looking around there, but prices are pretty high since it's a vacation spot. i'm going to check out the south shore. places are cheaper there, but that's because it's brutally cold.
...a very prolific writer. I'm impressed, andhonored to meet you. Considering that I like mystery/suspense, which one of your books should I start with?

What a great page. It's always got something new happening. Very cool. I wish I were more techo-literate, ya know?

Good job with the photos on this page. I think I'll check out your web-site. Maybe I'll find more eye candy.
