About Me:
I have four published novels, the fifth to come out soon. I started writing as soon as I learned how to read and never stopped. It took a long time for me to get published but I refused to give up.
Half way through book no five, The Road To Hell, I went blind with cataracts, this was really really terrible, to have finally acheived my dream, I was terrified to have the op as I was told there was a tiny chance I could go blind, of course with a writers imagination this became a huge chance. Six weeks ago, after finally becoming fed up of walking into walls and apologising I had the first op. It was a huge success.
This morning I had the other eye done and so far everything is working the way the first eye did. At the moment though it is terrible double vision, it takes twelve hours to settle down, so around ten o clock tonight I should know for sure if it has taken. Please ignore any typos.

Books And Authors I Like:
Steven King, the Stand is my favorite book ever. I also Love Ian Rankins books and Ken McCoy has a brilliant series going. Just discovered brilliant new writer Lee Weeks her first book The Trophy Taker is just out and well worth a read.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
At the moment I am hooked on Jerico, love Emmerdale.

    After your experience you should read my Spike Halleck novels, Sight Unsee and Blind Man's Bluff, both written as David Lorne. They deal with a blind sound effects man who solves a kidnapping using only acoustic clues from the ransom calls.

    Probably not at this point. Alibris has them as out-of-prints. I hope this helps. A note: there are not fewer than seven scenes in the movie The Fugitive that obviously 'borrow' from these two books, which, perhaps not coincidentally, are also set in Chicago.

    Every author fears work being stolen, so it's always, consider the source. The rule in building a case in logic is that as the number of nearly identical coincidences increase, the probability of sheer creative coincidence diminishes. Unluckily, the law, at least in America, requires a series of connections between the alleged plaigerists and the alleged source. Absent that kind of chain of custody, and a near identity in story and character, it is difficult to make a case. Art Buchwald had a good one against Eddie Murphy in Coming to America, and won his case. Then it becomes a matter of collection, which is a problem in itself.
