About Me:
I am 56and I started writing in the autumn of 2003. My first novel THE PUPPET MASTER ( Pegasus Elliot Mackenzie) was published in January 2008. I live in Rutland with my wife Maggie and when I am not writing I work as a contract project manager in such diverse places as Edinburgh, the City of London, and Kuwait. I wrote The Puppet Master between contracts which partly explains why it took so long. I am now writing a second book featuring the same lead character, Mike Barton. Although I have promoted him to Superintendent and transferred him to Cambridgeshire to head up the county's Murder investigation Team. LYING TO GOD is the first book in a series that I have been planning for some time, set against the backdrop of the historic town and villages of Cambridgeshire; the place where I grew up. Writing is the easy bit - but I am having trouble finding enough time. I am currently a lot of time on promoting my book - interviews, signings etc. LOOKING FOR A LITERARY AGENT

Just sitting here contemplating the futility of existence and wondering why I have so many faceless friends. These grey shadows are really boring. If you are shy why not use pic of your partner/kids/brother/sister/favourite cartoon character/George Bush/a VW Beetle ... anything please.

You know, I have no idea how to turn away from the fun distractions and get to work. I've always failed at that test! That might be why neither my novel nor any of my short stories are finished. If you come up with something, please let me know!

Well thanks for buying it - I never did mind waiting in queues.
