Hi, Sean. Nice seeing you in person today, cyberfriend.
  • Robert Gregory Browne

Interesting photo, Sean. You look like either need to kick some ass or hit the john.
  • Sean Chercover

I need to do both. Just can't decide which to do first.
  • Paul Guyot

Why don't you kick the john's ass?
  • Jon Jordan

Is there any music that is not appropriate for road trips?

    I'm thinking No Bee Gees.
  • Jon Jordan

    It's 106 miles to Chicago
we have full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
  • Sean Chercover

    Hit it.

    Sean -

It's the Canadian in you being polite about my choice of where I hang my hat. Some people? Not so much.

Great piece in Crimespree. The book is garnering notice, eh? Congrats!

    Getting any sleep these days?
  • Lori G. Armstrong

    Them's fighting words.

And I thought you were a nice guy!
  • Alison

You're welcome for the Saul Williams, Babycakes.

    He rocks!
  • Brian Thornton

Hi Sean- nice to see that you made it out of Seattle in one piece. How did your signing in Portland go? What's with the photo? Why didn't you use one of those gay hustler pose ones you were showing me from your CRIMESPREE article?
  • DADavenport

    Hi Sean,
Not ignoring your invitation, just having browser problems that are not allowing me to accept. I am currently trying to decided whether to update this thing or put a bullet in it's brain. The 9MM is looking like the better option this morning!

Thrillerfest, huh? When is it, again? I don't have anything of this variety on the schedule until B'con in September in Alaska. I might come, depends on the timeframe/finances.
  • LC Fraser

Hi Sean - met you at the signing in Toronto. Loved the book. Will try to get Patricia here too.
  • Robert Gregory Browne

I think we need music here. How about the Hammy the Hamster theme song?
  • Jon Jordan

You do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around

    THATS what it's all about.
  • Jeremy Lynch

Looking forward to seeing you this weekend!
  • tashaalexander

Sean, how is YOUR hair today?
  • Mary Reagan

Brian, Thrillerfest is July 12-15 in NYC
  • Carol Davis Luce

Hi Sean, thanks for befriending me both here and on that other space.
  • Thomas O'Callaghan

Hi Sean - sorry you couldn't retrieve my message. It said, Here's to friendship! Cheers!!!
  • Rose

    Hi Sean,
Thanks for accepting my friends offer. I'm one of the LCC hugers.
Just finished BCBL last night. SInce it is a library book, don't think that it will be appreciated if I have it signed this weekend in Mpls. Hope you have a great turnout, though I won't make it. Place is a mite unfriendly for those of us that have some physical problems.
Hope that you find that Mpls is not as dead as 'Duluth on a Sunday night'.

"Ah, well thanks for the welcome, Pat. Clifden is a beautiful town - hope to get back for another visit one day."

Sean, if you haven't been to Clifden recently, you probably won't recognize it. The Celtic Tiger has roared into town: new US Style supermarket in the center of town, 2 levels of underground car parking with lifts (elevators) etc. , and half-a-million euro duplex apartments overhead ... new modern apartment complexes and housing estates everywhere!

    Slan, Pat.
  • Sean Chercover

Sorry to hear that, Pat. Somehow I assumed that the Tiger would've missed towns like Clifden. Damn.

Neil - Barbecue is good. Pork is good. Life is good. It was great meeting you, finally.

Judith - Your disguises are many, but they cannot hide the real you.

Ben - I love the Bleak House so much that I wanted to move in. Got room for a stowaway? You and Alison rock. Totally. Dude.

Jeremy - was . . . no, wait. I'll put that on your page.
  • Sean Chercover

    Oooh, Judith. I can't wait.
  • Sean Chercover

Damn. A day late and a dollar short.
  • CT

Just dropped by to say Hi from downunder
  • Brian Thornton

Hi Sean- I've finally worked my way to your book's slot in the mountain which is my TBR pile. Read chapter one last night. Loved it. So far, so good!
  • Sean Chercover

Thanks, man. Glad you're enjoying it. Have you made a decision about Thrillerfest yet?
  • Brian Thornton

You're welcome, pal. Not looking good for Thrillerfest, budget-wise, especially since I've already signed up for Bouchercon in Anchorage.

We'll have to get to poker some time, though. LCC Denver?
  • LC Fraser

Your book is getting noticed on 4MA Sean - several of us have very much enjoyed it.

Did you ever get that haircut? I really think you should consider the pony tail look. Babies love to pull long hair.
  • Sean Chercover

Thanks LC, that's great to hear! Yes, I did get the much-needed haircut. I don't do ponytails (or mullets) but thanks for the suggestion. I've basically now got the same haircut as in my profile photo.

Hair, hair, hair. That's all I seem to talk about, these days...
  • LC Fraser

Look on the bright side, at least we are not all playing poker or scrabble or Name that Tune on your page. Things could be worse. Hair is way over rated anyway (just like sleep and sanity)
  • James

    Sean, brother

Next time, the Skyy's on me...

    Thanks
  • Julia Buckley

I watched the You Tube cat. Is that the clever cat you spoke of? :)

Still getting lots of hits on your interview. You are popular.
  • Grant McKenzie

Congrats on the TV deal, Sean. Excellent news.
  • Grant McKenzie

And on your Thriller nomination for best debut novel.
  • L.J. Sellers

    Hi Sean
Okay, I'll read Ken Bruen, then get back to you.
(He seems to have made a lot of favorite lists.)
  • Beth Groundwater

    Hi Sean,
Thanks for befriending this cozy mystery author!
    - Beth
  • Beth Groundwater

I have a new release next year, TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET in May, so I'll be more mystery cons. Mayhem in the Midlands and Bouchercon in Indianapolis are definites, and I'm weighing the possibility of some others--sort of depends on whether the stock market recovers and other economic factors. Will you be at either of the conferences I mentioned?
  • bill bedenbender

Just flew through Trigger City!!! Man your good. Loved that book!!!

Thanks and keep up them coming!!!
  • Mike Culvert

Just read Big City, Bad Blood, and thought it was terrific, just received Trigger City from Amazon today, looking forward to it.
  • Mike Culvert

Trigger City was great, part 3 on the way?
