Hey Adrian, I never even thought to have a look around at who else was here yet. Good to see you over here. By the way, did I mention that your blurb for my book is definitely in the efirst edition?
  • Hull Crime Fiction

Now then, Adrian. All the best with the books and watching The Wire!

    ps - Hull FC...wrong sport...
  • Adrian Magson

Well, I did say I don't follow football. (I meant to say lacrosse, of course...)
  • Col Bury

It was a 'good' egg, though!
Keep up those excellent author interviews in WM.
    Regards,
    Col

Thanks, Col - will do. Glad you like them. Thinking of profiled authors, I've just read Tony Black's new one - 'Gutted' - (I profiled him in January's WM) and it's excellent. My review of it will pop up shortly in SHOTS. You heard it here...
    Thanks for the enthusiasm!
  • Col Bury

    Thanks for the heads up!
  • Col Bury

    Cheers, Adrian.
I appreciate that. I've been reading your wise words again in WM and I did start Finders, Weepers (twice) only yo be interrupted by screaming kids! I'll get to it now they're back at school.
I also have a proposition for you, but best done via email. Mine's next to Matt's on the guidelines to the TKnC site.

Where do we know each other from, Adrian? Your name looks so familiar.
  • Adrian Magson

I read your first book when it first came out, because you very kindly sent me a copy after holding a competition of some kind. Damned if I can remember what it was, though, but I think it was something like a first line question (?) Anyway, I enjoyed the book and we corresponded briefly before you went off and became famous... or something. Nice to hear from you again, anyway.

Oh, and thank you for the friend thing, Glad to.
  • Reece Hirsch

Thanks, Adrian. Those Russian mobsters do make great villains. I see that you're also a fan of "The Wire" but have trouble deciphering the dialects. Here's a tip -- watch it on DVD and turn on the English language subtitles. Works like a charm. Reece
  • Anne Stuessy

    Thank you, Adrian!
  • Copper Smith

    Thanks for the friendship.
    And the thrills/chills!
