I write for adults and kids of all ages. readers might be interested in my culinary murder mysteries set on the south coast of Australia: UNJUST DESSERTS and UNKIND CUT
i would like to write as well as some of the Europeans, eg Patrick Susskind's "Perfume". I give a book three chapters, but if it doesn't grab me by then, I don't waste time on it. Life is too short. I have just discovered Patricia Duncker, and recommend her books highly for their insights and brevity. She proves you don't have to write 600 pages to convince me of her brilliance.
A writer for young adults I admire is Hazel Edwards.
I really enjoy receiving emails from authors and readers so please contact me.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
I enjoy intelligent sit coms, documentaries and films aimed at adults. Old moveis are wonderful, but recent films I have enjoyed immensely include "Atonement" and 'No Country for Old men" though this is not as good as the Coen bros "Fargo" which was brilliant.
Hi Goldie, Thank you for the message. Writing for a younger audience is quite a discipline. I admire all authors but especially those who reach that difficult market. I hope you enjoy being here at Crimespace.
